Yes thats what i got told, was being discussed but then i think its his decision to go out and get gametime as the arrival of Hendrie and Page and Borg behind him would make it tough. I know BFS was not flavour of the month from Potts' viewpoint.

Let's be clear here, there has been a severe lack of quality in our development squad for a number of years and none of them were anywhere good enough to step up.
There are now 2 or 3 rough diamonds that are realistically two or three seasons away from stepping up and Burke isn't one of them.
Lets be honest here, you are talking out your arse and with little or no knowledge of what you are talking about.
Oxford, Powell & Borg are no better now at this age than Chambers, Lee, Sadlier & others were when they were that age.
Its the coaching, development and exposure to the senior team along with a properly structured games programme that is crucial and the club let a lot of the boys released earlier this season down - when they were 16-18, there was no U21 league, matches were mid week and were against Dagenham, Orient, Southend or Colchester reserves and the coaching was piss poor so you cannot compare.

Driver left at the end of last season.
Concur left in Jan after being on a season long loan at Colchester which they made perm
Fanimo, Turgott, Sadlier & Whitehead left in January, along with Lleget.
Maguire, McCallum & Bywater were also released by the fat arse in Jan but remained on the books until season end.

My opinion was that he should have time to turn it around. He didn't, so he deserves to go.
It is the right decision just as long as they don't fuck it up by appointing another Avram Grant.
